One wonders why they had to do this?Why?--because there was a war!Then why did Japan start the war?For what?This film made me think.It"s obvious starting war is a shortcut to the destruction of humanity.The Japanese government has been denying there were 300,000 people killed during the Nanking massacre (well ,they are not alone,similarly there are also those of holocaust denial).With that as a contemporary reality,it is a right thing to do to be reminded of this event with movies like this one,the Flowers of War,so that we could do all we can to prevent another war from coming.【《金陵十三钗》】
