在我家的阳台上,有一盆很不显眼的仙人掌.
仙人掌的身体像是一块翡翠,又像一只可爱的小刺猬.它全身布满了一根根像钢针一样的刺,你可别小看这些刺,这可是它用来自卫还击的武器呢!我被它刺过,妈妈也被它刺过,疼极了.妈妈曾多次要把它扔掉,可我不肯,因为我对它有一种特殊的感情,我爱那盆仙人掌.
春天到了,万物苏醒,在仙人掌“妈妈”的身上钻出了一个小仙人掌,小仙人掌显得那么弱小,那么脆嫩,好像一阵风就能把它吹走似的.而它的“妈妈”生怕自己的孩子受到初春寒风的“欺侮”,总是用自己的身体挡住寒风,可小仙人掌却总是往上钻,终于,在春雷爷爷的鼓励下,在春雨姐姐的帮助下,小仙人掌克服了重重困难,长大了.
春末夏初,仙人掌身上长出了花苞,说来也奇怪,仙人掌开花很有“次序”,总是两朵一起开,像一对孪生姐妹,又像小姑娘头上扎着的蝴蝶结.仙人掌的花开得洁白芬芳,像一位美丽的仙女穿着洁白的连衣裙,一边在翡翠舞台上跳着婀娜多姿的舞蹈,一边从连衣裙上,散发出令人陶醉的芳香.
秋天,丰收的季节,仙人掌长大了,它的用处可多啦!可以切成一片片泡成清凉可口的茶,为你解渴.还可以食用,它的营养可丰富啦,可以做盆景……真是说不完,但最令人吃惊的是它竟然能熬成药水来治玻
人们爱富丽堂皇的牡丹、芍药,爱千姿百态的秋菊,爱十里飘香的桂花……我却独爱貌不惊人的仙人掌,不仅仅因为它的外表,更因为它的品质

顽强的小草
“野火烧不尽,春风吹又生.”这是白居易写的一个诗句,是形容小草顽强的生命力.
小草,一种无名的植物,虽然它很渺小,但是成千上万株小草就织成了一张大自然的绿被；虽然它很渺小,但是它为大地增添了一份又一份的生机；虽然它很渺小,但是它那顽强的精神一直鼓舞着我.
在夏天的时候,经常有很多狂风暴雨的袭击.有一天晚上,天空上原来也有许多星星在眨着眼睛,可不一会儿,快活的星星们都躲到云层里,很快,一场狂风暴雨就来临了.只听见“哗哗”的下雨声,“隆隆”的打雷声遍响了整个大地.花朵们都低着头躲雨,只有那小草还挺直着身躯,迎着狂风在左右摇摆.
到了第二天早上,雨终于停了,走出屋外,空气格外清新,再看看公园,一片死气沉沉的景象：花儿耷拉着脑袋,花瓣撒满一地.树木的枝叶有的断了,到处都可见到一大片一大片的落叶.再看看那小草,景象更为惊人,一株又一株的小草砍腰折臂地倒在地上.
这又是何苦呢?如果当初它们不那么骄傲地仰着头,就没有今天这样的惨状了.
但是,奇迹出现了,到了第二天早上,大地上竟然长出了一棵又一棵的嫩芽,旁边又生出了小草,它正在和风细雨的环境里贪婪地吮吸着仙露琼浆.
这是怎么回事?原来小草就是这样顽强,即使被狂风暴雨击毁了,也不会气馁.
就算是一簇一簇无名的小草,它们没有条件生长宽阔的叶子,就算它们头顶上有千斤重的石块,它们也要掀翻石块,顽强地生长出来.就算从土壤来到地面的路途有多曲折,它也要弯弯曲曲地钻到地面上来,阻挡它的石块,结果也被它掀翻.
小草虽然渺小,但它是最顽强的生命.它不怕风吹雨打,电闪雷鸣,它有韧性,有毅力,有意志.
